UniElect is the new alternative for bimetal requirements. Bimetallic wire applications include aerospace, automotive harness, battery cables, RF shielding, telecommunications, electronics, utilities and other industrial applications.
Bimetals are created by bonding two different metals into a single conductor. It is the bimetal wire that makes the metallurgy combination of copper or aluminum layer and aluminum or steel-core wire, through the way of cover the copper or aluminum layer on the aluminum or steel-core wire.and also realize the copper or aluminum layer spread to circumference and portrait way with balanced concentricity. The product is divided into soft and hard state in the way of statement, but 8,10 percent to 15 percent according to the volume of copper layer.The result is a low-cost, light-weight alternative to using solid copper. UniElect manufactures Aluminum Clad Steel Wire(ACS), Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) , Copper Clad Steel (CCS) ,Tinned Copper Clad Aluminum (TCCA) , Tinned Copper Clad Steel (CP) , Silvered Copper Clad Aluminum (SCCS). CCS is offered in 15% 18%,21%, 30%, and 40% IACS conductivity for specific needs.CCS Size is from 0.09mm to 2.4mm,CCA Size is from 0.10mm to 8.00mm.
Bimetal products are produced at the UniElect facility in Huzhou, Zhejiang. This facility is ISO 9001 and SGS registered.
